Senior leader of CPN-UML K.P Sharma Oli has accused Maoist chairman Puspha Kamal Dahal of applying all measures to get elected to the post of Prime Minister in the next PM run-off.
Speaking at a programme in the capital Saturday, Oli criticised Dahal for "going out of his way" to convince both national and international forces to form the Maoist-led government under his leadership.
"Unified CPN (Maoist) must give up its fascination for weapons," Oli said while addressing a program organised here in the capital today, adding, "Maoists need to be ready to turn their party into a civilian party to materialise their dream to form a government."
Blaming his party chairman Jhala Nath Khanal for breaching the central committee's decision to stand against a majority government, Oli claimed that the second prime ministerial run-off would also fail to elect the PM.
"Central committee members must sit immediately to decide how to end the current deadlock," Oli added. nepalnews.com
