PM Dahal to induct UML in the govt

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he will initiate the process to expand his cabinet by inducting the ministers from Unified Marxist Leninist (UML), Thursday.

According to UML leader Bamdev Gautam who met with PM Dahal, Wednesday evening, the PM told him that he will hold talks with his party leaders and finalise the issue of cabinet by Thursday.

Gautam had been nominated by UML to lead the partyʼs team at the cabinet. On last Friday, when PM Dahal formed his cabinet, the UML team of six ministers refused to take oath at the last minute demanding second position for Gautam in the cabinet hierarchy.

Reports have said that PM Dahal is ʽpositiveʼ towards providing second position to UML leader in the cabinet.
