Support to Koshi flood victims

 

The Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Committee (NCC) China has contributed around Rs 350,000 as relief support to the flood victims of Koshi.

According to a statement issued by NRNA, Nepalis and other local businessmen in Gongzhou and neighbouring cities donated the amount to Nepal though NRN China.

The amount has been handed over to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is currently on a China visit, during a function organised in the Nepali embassy in Beijing.

Similarly, the staffs of the Nepali embassy in Canberra, Australia also extended financial assistance to the flood victims. nepalnews.com ia Aug 26 08
